The Quit Notice given to the Igbo by the North has driven the staggering real estate business of Abuja (and other Northern states) to the ground by chuka Nduneseokwu

The Quit Notice given to the Igbo by the North has driven the staggering real estate business of Abuja (and other Northern states) to the ground.

Almost every Igbo man who is into the real-estate business of building and selling houses has suspended (stopped) buying lands. A lot have currently stopped work at site.

That quit notice was an eye opener for lots of Ndi Igbo who felt Nigeria was one indivisible unit. It showed many of our fathers and brothers that the North has an eye on the properties of Ndi Igbo which runs into trillions of dollars and pounds.

That quit notice is the greatest political and economic mistake by the North. Even till the next 20years a large number of Igbo business men (at least the sensible ones) won't invest in properties in Northern Nigeria - even Abuja.
