Landlords do not like to talk about pest problem with their tenants. They know some prospects will be scared to learn about mice and cockroaches. But you feel helpless when you notice these crawling enemies finding their way to all corners of the apartment, even your wardrobe. If you hate pest or become afraid seeing them near you, it is better to enquire about their presence before signing the contract.
